Deir ez-Zor women call International Community to stop massacres in Afrin, al-Ghouta


DEIR EZ-ZOR- Women of Deir ez-Zor demanded during a demonstration in al-Jazrat area, International Community to move against the massacres committed on the people of Afrin and to stop the bloodshed in Afrin.

Dozens of women gathered in Deir ez-Zor in front of Syrian Women’s Center in Deir ez-Zor to participate in a protest against international silence over the massacres in Afrin.

The participated women have raised flags of Syrian Women’s Council, flags of People and Women Protection Units (YPG, YPJ) photographs of martyrs of Resistance of the age, Salim al-Khalif, and banners reading “Murderer of Children Erdogan, Stop Bloodshed in Afrin.” “Our Martyrs are People’s Values who Bring People Closer to their age, Afrin and Deir ez-Zor are one.

The demonstration marched in the town streets to gather demonstrators in the roundabout of martyr Dahash.

During the demonstration, ANHA interviewed women from Deir ez-Zor. “We condemn the attacks of Turkish aggression on Afrin and the international silence about the massacres committed in Afrin and Ghouta,” said Haifa Agha, a member of Palestinian Legislative Council.

“How long is this silence, nation of humanity?

At the end of her speech, al-Agha appealed to all countries and Human Rights Organizations to stop these massacres in Afrin and al-Ghouta.

One of the participating women appealed to all the world to revolt for Afrin and al-Ghouta “Revolt, Revolt.”
