In his first comment, Khamenei accuses Iran’s “enemies” of being behind protests

NEWS DESK – In its first comment on the protests and demonstrations sweeping Iran 5days ago, Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei accused Iran of being behind the protests.

The protests of the Iranian people against the regime of the Iranian mullahs, the sixth day of these protests and the outbreak of violence, which has killed 20 people so far, and arrested hundreds, and in the first comment on these demonstrations, accused Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei of what he called “enemy” behind “The enemy is waiting for the opportunity to strike Iran,” he said.

Khamenei told the families of the martyrs quoted by Reuters

“In recent days, Iran’s enemies have used various tools, including money, weapons, politics and intelligence apparatus, to create crises for the Islamic Republic,” Khamenei said in an interview with Reuters.

“I have a lot to say to our dear people but it will be timely,” he said.

The people of Iran  live in poor economic conditions because the authorities are acting as a result of the implementation of their foreign policies in the region. Non-Persian peoples, including Kurdish and Arab, are subjected to oppressive practices, displacement and systematic policies that prevent them from speaking their language and reviving their culture.

During the protests, the demonstrators chanted “Death to Rouhani” slogans, “Leave Syria and Lebanon and turn to us,” as well as attack on police stations and burn them to images of Iranian leaders, including religious leaders.
