Turkish’s women celebrate International Day in Prisons

NEWS DEAK– Turkish women received the International Women’s Day with arrests and raids by the Turkish authorities on charges of coup.

Turkish security sources revealed that the Turkish authorities decided to celebrate International Women’s Day in its own way,  121 women have been arrested in Istanbul.

Turkish security sources revealed that the Turkish authorities decided to celebrate International Women’s Day in its own way, through the arrest of 121 women in Istanbul.

The Turkish press quoted the statement issued by the Turkish Public Prosecutor’s Office. The statement added that arrest warrants were issued against 121 women residing in Istanbul and 29 other Turkish cities.

Turkish police forces began arresting at 1 am on 08 March, to arrest export women for warrants of arrest and habeas corpus in 29 different cities.

The Turkish press reported informed sources that the operation carried out by the Turkish authorities in 29 cities has resulted in the arrest of 33 women so far, including Fatima Nur Colin daughter of a brother of Professor Fethullah Colin, and “Balqis, “Nour Takin,” sister of the wife of Adel Oksuz, The mastermind of the coup attempt in Turkey.
